Ayesha renewed own SL Record

The Uva Province athlete Ayesha Maduwanthi’s 43.18 metre hammer throw distance renewed her own Sri Lanka record on the second day at the 41st Sri Lanka National Sports Festival held at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium, Diyagama, Homagama yesterday.

Ayesha erased her previous Sri Lanka record of 42.74 metres set in last year’s National Sports Festival held in Anuradhapura.
