Chamali shattered a 13-year-old Sri Lanka long jump record

Chamali Priyadharshani of the Western Province set a new Sri Lanka records at the Athletics Championship of 41st National Sports Festival continued at Diyagama yesterday by recording her career best jump of 6.43m in her 5th attempt of the competition to erase the 13 year old Sri Lanka record of 6.35m set by Nayanthi Chandrasena back in in May 2002 in Bangkok.
