Dilshan signs for English domestic cricket

Sri Lankan star cricketer, Tillakaratne Dilshan has signed for Surrey to play English domestic cricket for the first time ever.

According to the Surrey’s media report, Dilshan will make his debut in the Championship match against Hampshire on June 28.

The most capped English cricketer ever, Alec Stewart; Surrey’s director of cricket, stated; ” We were fortunate to have a high class international cricketer like Dilshan to play in England; with the very packed international fixtures. Therefore we always try our best to use his talents & experiences in a positive and careful manner.”

” It’s a wonderful opportunity for me to play for Surrey, ” Dilshan uttered. ” They are still one of the historic & top clubs in the world and I really hope to make a big impact on them to become success in the upcoming matches.”

Tillakaratne Dilshan was honored to originate and introduced ‘The Dilscoop'; a brand new cricket shot for the history of cricket.

Also Dilshan averaged 41 in Test cricket, 38 in one-day internationals and 29 in T-20s.
