Sri Lanka A Leveled the Series 1-1

Bangladesh A lost the second unofficial ODI against Sri Lanka by 67 runs at Sylhet. With this win, Sri Lanka A leveled the three-match series 1-1.

After a slow start, it was all-rounder Thisara Perera’s knock of 111 which helped Sri Lanka to post 275. Naeem picked up wickets for 42.

Chasing 276, Bangladesh A lost couple of early wickets. Al Amin and Mituhn tried to put some fightback but a batting collapse at the later part of the innings ended the hope for Bnagladesh to clinch the series. Al Amin was dismissed after scoring the highest knock of 46. Malinda and Peiris shared two wickets each for Sri Lanka A.

Sri Lanka A : 275/10 in 49.4 overs (Thisara 111; Naeem 3/42, Sunzamul 2/21, Shoriful 2/74)

Bangladesh A : 208/10 in 44.2 overs (Al Amin 46, Zakir 32, Saif 28; Malina 2/30, Peiris 2/39)

Result : Sri Lanka A won by 67 runs.
