Dev Nugera wins veteran’s cycling title

Dev Nugera of Katunayake sealed the title in the veteran’s over 50 cycling championships organized by the Kalutara District Cycling Association (KDCA) recently.

The events consisted of over 45’s and over 50’s categories. Terrance Kingston (Gampaha) won the over 45 racing event. The event had been organized to felicitate 77 year-old Seedin Saputhanthri who won the national cycling championship on many occasions.

Seedin won the Lanka Savariya, Deepacharika, Guruge Savariya and many national level race competitions from 1960 to 1980s.
