Dr Dullas Alahapperuma was appointed as the Sports Minister of Sri Lanka when the new Cabinet Ministers were sworn-in before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat Friday and assumed duty on the same day.

The 60-year old Alahapperuma who was born in Dikwella replaces former minister of sports Harin Fernando, who stepped down from his post following the Presidential Election defeat of UNF. He is also the Youth Affairs and Education Minister of the new caretaker Government.

We would further love to Congratulate and welcome our New Minister Of Sports, Dr Dullas Alahapperuma and we wish him the very best in his new appointment.
