Mr. Anura De Silva The President and MR. Ranjith Rodrigo The Immediate Past President of Football Federation of Sri Lanka respectively met with Mr. Joseph S.Blatter at FIFA Head Quarters in Zurich and discussed the development of Football in Sri Lanka. Mr. Blatter assured the Sri Lankan Delegation that he will continue the assistance to Sri Lanka. Mr. Thierry Regenass Head of Member Associations and Development of FIFA and Mike Pfister of FIFA also participated at the discussions.

FIFA PERFORMANCE PROGRAMME IN SRI LANKA

Mr. Anura De Silva the President FFSL and Mr. Ranjith Rodrigo Immediate Past President FFSL held discussions with Mr. Frederic Guillemont -Senior Manager Performance Programme of the FIFA in the areas of Human Resource ,Technical Development and Financial management of FFSL.

SPORTS REGULATIONS AND PROJECTS IN SRILANKA

Mr. Anura De Silva the President FFSL and Mr. Ranjith Rodrigo Immediate Past President FFSL held discussions with Mr.Mike Pfister -Senior manager member association developmen.and Mr.,Primo Corvaro (FIFA) with regards to the Sports regulations of Sri Lanka and Briefed FIFA officials of the developments . Also the status of Dangalla and Kelaniya projects and proposed artificial turf at the Baddagana Training centre, was discussed. The meeting will continue today afternoon too.

FFSL President Anura and Mr. Ranjith Rodrigo participated at FIFA ASSOCIATION COMMITTEE MEETING

FIFA President Mr.Joseph Blatter addressed the FIFA Member Association Committee meeting which deals with relations between FIFA and its Members and draw up proposals for optimum cooperation. The committee l also monitor the evolution of the Statutes and regulations of FIFA, the Confederations and Members.
