The Hong Kong U20 men’s team triumphed with an emphatic win over Sri Lanka, 36-10 in today’s final at King’s Park in a dominant display of free-flowing rugby. Both teams deservedly reached the final having swept aside Malaysia and South Korea, respectively in the semi finals.

Despite the loss, Sri Lanka, who won the first leg in Johor Bahru and made the final in Hong Kong took the Series honours and with it, the title of Asian under 20 champions for 2016.

South Korea, who finished second in the series, claimed 3rd place today after triumphing over Malaysia in the bronze medal match. UAE came out winners over Chinese Taipei and Singapore registered their win of the Series defeating Thailand.

In the women’s Series, Thailand were too good for Hong Kong claiming the Series after winning the first 2 matches.
