The foundation stone laying ceremony of the Indoor Cricket building in Pallekele, Kandy was held Thursday(08).

Sports Minister Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara, Central Province Chief Minister Hon. Sarath Ekanayake, Member of Parliament Keheliya Rambukwella, Sidath Wettimuny Chairman- SLC Interim Committee and Head of Cricket Operations of SLC Carlton Bernardus were present at the ceremony.

Giving the outstation cricketers the best facilities possible to reach their potential is the vision of Chairman Sidath Wettimuny. This is the second such facility to commence the 1st being R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The 3rd facility will be at Dambulla said Chairman of SLC.
