In a bid to provide accommodation and practices for the Sri Lankan athletes prior to the Tokyo Olympic 2020, the Ministry of Sports has signed a memorandum of understanding with Chiba Prefecture.

The Mayor of Chiba Prefecture, Sensu Shintha and Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamge signed the MoU this morning at the Ministry.

Manwhile, Sri Lanka has promised to help Japan develop their cricket especially via sending Sri Lanka school teams for matches there.
