Sri Lanka sends team for Asian Junior Squash Championship 2015

Sri Lanka Squash Team and the officials, representing Sri Lanka at the Asian Junior Squash Championship 2015 which will be held from August 23-27 in Teheran, Iran pose to the official photograph with Director General of Department of Sports Development K.D.S.ruwanchandra.

Welcome / Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony and welcoming dinner will take place at the TBA- on 22nd August, 2015 at 20:00.

Medal Award Ceremony
The official medal award ceremonies will take place on court following the completion of the finals on 27th August, 2015.

Closing Ceremony
There will be a closing ceremony on 27th August, 2015 at 20:00.

Age categories

Boys Under 19 Girls Under 19
Boys Under 17 Girls Under 17
Boys Under 15 Girls Under 15
Boys Under 13 Girls Under 13

Tournament Format for singles events:

Scoring & Format
All matches will be played to the best of 5 games, 11 points – PAR (Point-A-Rally). WSF Rules of the World Singles Game will be applied throughout the tournament. All players are guaranteed A MINIMUM OF 2 MATCHES. Players will be expected to play two matches a day.

Main Draw
There shall be no play-off for 3rd position or any other position (3rd place trophy to both losing semi-finalists of Main Draw).

Plate Events
There shall be a championship plate event for first round losers and a classic plate event for 2nd round losers. There shall be no play-off for 3rd position or any other position (trophy to winner and runner-up of plate event).
