Isipathana takes Zahira 7s

Isipathana College, Colombo won the Zahira Sevens rugby tournament as they beat Prince of Wales, Moratuwa 24 (four tries, two conversions) to 19 (three tries, two conversions) at Zahira College grounds in Maradana on Sunday.

The winning try was scored by the prop forward Rehan de Silva in the extra time as the teams fished with 19 each at full time.

The other Isipathana tries were scored by Kushan Indunil, Chamod Fernando and Padma Sanka.
