Usain Bolt has a confidence for Commonwealth Games 2014

Six time Olympic champion Usain Bolt said he is available to compete for the 20th Commonwealth Games which is scheduled to be held from 23rd July to 03rd August 2014 at the Glasgow, Scotland .

He wishes to run in the relay but he was unlikely to take part in an individual event . The 27-year-old Jamaican , who won gold medals in the 100m, 200m and 4×100m relay at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics , has been struggling with a foot injury .

Earlier he stated that he missed some training in late March and early April . As he said his foot are 100% healthy now and he was backed onto full training . But he is not fit enough to attempt to qualify for the 100m and 200m at the Jamaican Championships this weekend. ”

I do not wish to take the place of anyone who qualifies this weekend as an individual event but I am available for relay duty if the selectors feel I can be an asset to the Jamaican team in Glasgow, ” Usain in a statement of his website.”

I have received lots of requests, Invitations and messages of support from my fans in Scotland who are looking forward to a great event,” he added.

Usain Bolt has never raced against the Commonwealth Games, having missed the events in Delhi four years ago and also Melbourne in 2006.
