Will Chinthana renew his records?

Chinthana Geethal Vidanage was able to obtain a gold medal under the weight category of 62kg in 2006 at the Commonwealth games in Melbourne.

It was a great opportunity to unfold the caliber of Sri Lankan weight lifters to the entire world. 19th Commonwealth games was held in India in 2010 and once again Chinthana was fortunate to win the silver medal and bring glory to country under the weight category of 69kg.

Currently Chinthana is engaging in regular practices & he stated that he use his utmost efforts to bring fame to our motherland and he expects to take part in 69 or 72 kg weight category in the 20th Commonwealth games which is scheduled to be held from 23rd July to 03rd August 2014 at the Glasgow in Scotland.
