Young gofers for Thailand Amateur

Priya Hemantha and D.M. Pradeep have been selected to represent Sri Lanka at the 80th Singha Thailand Amateur Golf Championship to be played at Panya Indra Golf Club in Bangkok from 9th to 12th September 2014.

Sixteen countries from Asia are billed to participate in this tournament including the power house of Asian golf Japan, Taiwan and India.

Priya Hemantha the 26 year-old from Victoria Golf & Country Resort has represented Sri Lanka at the SAARC Golf Tournament in 2011, Sri Lanka Amateur in 2014 and at the Pakistan Amateur Golf Championship in May 2014. He started playing Golf at the age of 18.

D.M. Pradeep is 22-years-old from the Sri Lanka Navy and has represented Sri Lanka in the All India Amateur Golf Championship in December 2013. He started playing golf at the age of 16 years at the Victoria Golf & Country Resort like Hemantha, before joining the Navy in January 2013.
