5-A-side Basketball Tourney

The Masters Basketball Sri Lanka has called for entries for the Old Boys & Old Girls from the Schools for the inaugural 05- A- side Basketball Tournament, to be held on 29th & 30th November 2014 at the MCA newly refurbished, floodlit Basketball Courts.

This unique tournament is open for teams comprising from the same school, Men- Over 35, Over 45 and Over 55 and Women – Over 28 and Over 35, as at 01st November 2014.

The reserve days for the tournament are 06th & 07th December 2014.

The tournament will be conducted according to FIBA rules, adopted by MBSL, matches with a duration of 02 halves of 07 minutes each and a 02 minutes break in between.

The entries will close on Friday, 21st November 2014 at 12 noon with Col. Vikum Siriwardena, Chairman Tournament Committee, MBSL.

In august 2014 the Masters Basketball Sri Lanka, under the astute leadership of Neil Perera from DP Logistics, launched the new logo and conducted a grand Masters Tournament with over 25 Sri Lankan National Players, domiciled abroad coming over to participate.
