Deputy Sports Minister Sugat Thilakaratne, joined as the chief guest of the fourth National Bow Piercing Championship, said that the national mission to create a rich country in a beautiful country that can move forward through sports.

The championship organized by the Sri Lankan bow piercing association was held for 3 days at the Colonnawa Tunguliya stadium, for which 311 players participated in 29 events representing ten sports clubs.

Medals and certificates were presented to the winners under the leadership of Deputy Sports Minister Mr. Sugat Thilakaratne.

Totally removing politics from sports. All-game carry plans for the Olympics begin the first week of January 2025. Can’t let the country’s game go away. We are fast addressing the problems in sports clubs.
I have heard stories like this sitting there as a player like you guys. Let’s make those stories a reality. Let’s get ready to start the renaissance era of sports. We have the responsibilities to lead all the games of bow piercing our country to international victory. Let’s make 2028 a year of Olympics hopeful. Let’s come together to make a beautiful country rich country theme a reality through sports.
